Michael Woodward, Owner/Executive Chef

 

Michael Woodward has built a culinary career spanning the last two and a half decades. Starting from humble beginnings at a small family-owned Italian restaurant in Arcadia, California, Michael has studied and worked with award-winning executive chefs in three star and fine dining restaurants such as Stars of San Francisco, Tourelle of Lafayette, and the Santa Fe Bar and Grill in Berkeley. Over the years, Michael has amassed a wealth of culinary knowledge and artistry from an array of gourmet global cuisines. In 2004, Michael left restaurants to start M Woodward Catering and redefine fine catering in Napa, Sonoma, Marin and the greater Bay Area.

 

Along with his high end California Cuisine cooking experience, Michael also possesses over 300 hours of fine wine education from the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, California, one of the world’s premier establishments for wine studies.
